Spring Break 2009

Another late post but still great photos. We headed back to sunny, warm Florida for spring break, March 31- April 5, 2009. The weather at home was yucky & cold, so we were thrilled to arrive & enjoy warm, sunny days. We spent the first 2 nights in Palmetto (courtesy of Gr. & Gr. Herrin's accommodations), visited with Gr. & Gr. Reed. Spent a great day near St. Petersburg at Fort DeSoto, an old military fort with beautiful beaches. Then drove northeast to Daytona, spent 1 night there. More beach & pool time. Finally drove to Orlando, stayed at the Gaylord (amazing hotel) for 2 nights. Hit Downtown Disney & Epcot. Another wonderful FL vacation...oh I miss Florida.

Spring Break in Florida

We just returned home yesterday (3-29-08) from a fun-filled, jam-packed week in Florida. This photo was taken by my father-in-law Bill at Holmes Beach near Bradenton, FL. It was a hot, hot day full of sunshine and smiles. The girls had a GREAT time digging in the sand and running in and out of the water. Visited with Grandma & Grandpa Herrin and Great-Grandma & Great-Grandma Reed. We also spent time at the fabulous Disney Beach Club and 3 of the theme parks. Great time! More photos to follow.
