I Love My "Sistaahhh"!!

These photos are from a while ago (1-27-08) but I just rediscovered them recently when I had all my photos printed off the camera. On this day Kelly was writing out some of her Valentine cards for friends at school and her cousins. Katey wanted to make some, too, of course. Kelly was trying to pick the perfect card for each person and as usual, Katey wanted to "help".
I'm not sure how all the kissing got started but Katey was basically attacking Kelly (not unusual for her) with kisses and hugs. She would not stop kissing her "sistaaahhh" (Katey's affection name for Kelly). It was hilarious and Kelly and I were laughing so hard. Usually these moments pass so quickly but Katey kept it up long enough for me to find the camera and snap some shots.
Love these photos because they'll always remind me of how much they really adore each other (and may have to pull them out to remind them when they fight how much they really love each other!! :)

Happy Easter Egg Hunt! March 22, 2008

Katey-2 & Kelly-8 happy to find their special gifts!

Best Friends Forever--- Lisa & Kim, Katey & Karli :)

The girls had a wonderful time at Nana & Papa Dietz's 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Thankfully my parents had decided long beforehand to hold this year's big hunt indoors at church, rather than in their backyard. Little did we know then, we'd be receiving nearly a foot of snow on Good Friday!

The girls had so much fun during the weeks before filling eggs with their Grammy Carman, then decorating Nana's special baskets for the hunt. The anticipation drove them nuts! :) Finally the morning of the egg hunt arrived. Kelly decided they should dress up, so wore their new pink matching dresses Nana had bought them.

My parents went all out this year, as always!! All of the kids gathered many, many eggs and special gifts that were personalized just for them. They had a blast spending their bunny bucks on the prizes available.

Thank you very, very much Nana and Papa for a fabulous time! Kelly & Kaitlyn (and all the kids there) had so much fun. Hope you enjoy the photos.
